The 2nd World Sufi Gathering will be Held on 25-27 July 2023

Pekalongan, JATMAN Online – Idaroh Aliyah Jam'iyyah Expert Thoriqoh Al-Mu'tabaroh An-Nahdliyyah (JATMAN) agreed on the results of a meeting with the management of the International World Sufi Assembly (WSA) that the 2nd World Sufi Multaqo will be held on July 25-27 2023/8-10 Muharram 1445 H in Pekalongan.

This decision was agreed upon at the halal bi halal as well as a preparatory technical meeting for Multaqo Sufi al-Alami (World Sufi Multaqa) with the theme 'From JATMAN for the World' on Thursday (11/04) at Kanzus Sholawat Pekalongan.

"We hope for the cooperation of all, especially idaroh wustho and syu'biyyah throughout Indonesia to make Multaqo Sufi a success," said Secretary General of JATMAN Dr. KH. Mashudi, M.Ag, Thursday (12/05).

It should be noted, the World Sufi Multaqo (World Sufi Meeting) is a meeting place for world Sufis which was first held in 2019 in order to unite perceptions regarding socio-religious matters.

This meeting did not only discuss religious matters, but also discussed economics, tasawuf, fiqh and world peace.

"At the Multaqo Sufi event later, let's show the international world that Indonesia is a strong and peaceful country. Dozens of tariqah exist in Indonesia but there is not the slightest division. Differences in khilafiyah do exist, but that is still normal," said Habib Luthfi bin Yahya.

One of the results of the 2019 Sufi Multaqo established Maulana Habib Luthfi bin Yahya as chairman of the World Sufi Forum which is now the World Sufi Assembly.
